Deli/Catering Prep Cook

Be a part of the team behind our signature salads, sandwiches, dips and more! As a Deli Prep Cook at Miles Farmers Market, you’ll help prepare delicious food from scratch for our deli case and catering menu. This role is all about freshness, precision, and teamwork.

Job Description

Our Deli Prep Cooks work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where quality and consistency matter. You’ll assist with preparing and assembling prepared food items for the deli counter, the retail store shelves as well as catering orders. Working under the guidance of our Deli Prep Manager and senior staff, you’ll help maintain the high standards Miles is known for.
Whether you’re already confident in the kitchen or just getting started, this role offers a great opportunity to grow your skills and be part of something delicious.

• Full-time (5 days/week), including weekends and holidays
• Competitive pay: $13–$16/hour, based on experience
• Holiday closures: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day, Easter

Qualifications

While previous prep or kitchen experience is a plus, it’s not required. We’ll train anyone who’s:

• 18 years or older
• Reliable, quick to learn, and enjoys working with food
• Comfortable with basic knife skills or willing to learn
• Able to follow recipes and food safety procedures
