Produce Department Associate
As a Produce Department Associate at Miles Farmers Market, you'll play an essential role in preparing, stocking, and maintaining the freshest fruits and vegetables in the region. You’ll be working hands-on with beautiful produce—cleaning, weighing, packaging, and merchandising product for our customers to enjoy.
Job Description
This is a physical, fast-paced job where you’ll also help customers with questions and make sure the department stays clean, organized, and fully stocked.
Duties Include:
- Cleaning and trimming fresh produce
- Weighing, wrapping, and packaging fruits and vegetables
- Stocking and rotating product on shelves and displays
- Setting up and maintaining attractive merchandising
- Assisting customers with product questions and selections
- Keeping work areas clean and sanitized
- Following food safety and handling procedures
Schedule & Pay:
- Full-time and part-time positions available
- Must be available on weekends and some holidays
(We’re closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day & Easter; shortened hours on summer holidays) - Starting wage: $13.00/hr up to $15.00/hr, based on experience

Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:

- Able to work on your feet and lift up to 40 lbs
- Dependable and self-motivated
- Experience in produce, grocery, or food service a plus—but we’re happy to train!
